The videos I like end up falling into limbo. Either I can no longer find them due to the volume, or some end up being deleted. I wanted to make a backup of this list and organize it somehow.
To my surprise, YouTube does not have an easy way to make this backup, let alone organize it. I decided to create a script using the YouTube API to continuously back up this information into a spreadsheet and later attempt to organize it into different playlists.
The script generates a .csv spreadsheet with the following fields:
By clicking the button below, you will be prompted for permission to access your Youtube account. With this permission, I will be able to capture the data from your liked videos playlist. The generated .csv file and your access token (provided to me by Google) are deleted from the server within 24 hours.
